EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This document, the Report on Standardisation Activities - Mid Term, is a contractual deliverable of WP 7.2 “Interaction with international standardisation standards”.

The report is divided in 5 chapters. The first two chapters deal about an introduction of FLYSAFE project and references and definitions. Chapter 3 lists all completed Meeting Report Sheets for attended international standardisation meetings, sorted under related FLYSAFE Working Groups.

Each Meeting Report Sheets contains information about:

• Meeting date, meeting title, and meeting objectives
• Rationale for attending each meeting
• Meeting results and
• Impact on FLYSAFE

Based on this information an evaluation is performed reflecting the main reasons for attending international standardisation meetings, the main results from these meetings and the impact on FLYSAFE. Thus, the evaluation of FLYSAFE standardisation activities represents how many standardisation meetings per WG were visited, how many meetings are planned for 2007, which were the main reasons for attending standardisation meetings and what were the main outputs. For the evaluation of impact on FLYSAFE a table is used to correlate the standardisation activities with criteria like impact on design, implementation, operational concepts and FLYSAFE notices.

Chapter 5 provides an outlook together with recommendations for the next period of FLYSAFE project.
