EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This document is the contractual deliverable of FLYSAFE WP 6.1.1 "Operational Scenarios Specification". It describes the groundwork about use cases proposed for the evaluations in the Full Flight Simulator at NLR. The proposed scenarios are either adapted from the WP 1.1.1 Operational Concept Document to fit with the NG-ISS functionalities of the FLYSAFE mock-up or selected from the internal specification work in WP 1.2.3 on traffic awareness or proposed within the technical work of this workpackage.

Some scenarios are marked as "short list", meaning they are proposed as candidates for the piloted evaluations in the flight simulator, while some other make the supplement list. The latter can be used for the Part task evaluations (PTEs) within WP 3, WP 4 or WP 5 or be proposed instead if a scenario of the short list turns out not to be doable in the simulator environment (for various reasons). It could also serve the purpose of an additional case to be run. Note that at the time of this document release, the PTE scenarios need not be describe and hence the supplemental list does not show a balanced and exhaustive picture of terrain, traffic, weather and overall scenarios.

All these scenario cases will be used as starting point for the preliminary test plan in WP 6.1.3. Finally the implementation of these proposals into the full flight simulation environment will be one of the tasks of WP 6.3.
