EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This document is the deliverable D 5.2.1, Tactical Alert Management Specification (TAM). Based on the various subsystems’ alerting states the full set of tactical alert combinations has been set up and prioritised properly, taking into account internationally accepted standards.

This document contains an analysis of standards and existing projects where Tactical Alert Management is performed. The analysis leads to the functional requirements for TAM, supported with rationale based on past experience.

An architectural definition of the software implementation will serve as the main input for WP 5.2.2 where the TAM will be developed.
The Integration Verification & Validation phase of the TAM software development cycle will be carried out in WP 5.2.3.
