WP 6.6 “Training of users” starts with a training analysis after the NG ISS system concept has been defined under WP 1.1 and WP 1.2. Based on that outcome training media will be developed and delivered.
This training material could be Computer Based Training (CBT) type of products, web-based products, presentations, flyers, etc. The most appropriate forms of training material have to be decided on within the project.
With this new developed training material, future users of the end product (pilots, technicians, commercial and management persons, etc) will be given an education on the product. This will be done via workshops and training meetings, so that each person to undergo the training understands the logic and advantages of the system, and learns the basic principles of the new Human Machine Interface that goes with this NG ISS cockpit system.
The material developed will also be applied to educate and train the pilots that participate in the actual piloted experiments of WP 6.7. At the same time, this training material will have a high dissemination and exploitation value for the project as a whole, and thus strongly correlate with foreseen WP 7 activities.
