WP 6.4 Test bed customisation

”test bed customisation” means the implementation of all required test bed hardware and software, both for FFS and for FT. The task also includes development and testing of the environment of the flight simulator, implying weather, and traffic and terrain (database) aspects, development of ATC and airport route structures, of incident/abnormal situations, and of all hardware and software adaptations to the FFS and FT etc.
The FT test bed will be customised by the provider of the aircraft, as selected under WP 6.1.

The software and hardware items specified under WP 6.3, will be developed and implemented at the full flight simulator, ATC and tower simulator environment.

NLR will lead these activities and also provide technical assistance to WP 5.2 to WP 5.7 on matters that relate to interfacing the NG ISS to the full FSS environment.
