WP 5.1 NG ISS architecture and IO configuration

Based on the results of the “Overall System Specification” (WP 1.2.1), the FLYSAFE team will detail the NG ISS architecture at a level required to integrate the various components.
This WP includes a system specification analysis of a future NG ISS product architecture. This specification task is done in accordance with the on-going work on standardisation. Once the NG ISS architecture and data flows have been defined, the FLYSAFE team will initiate a Preliminary System Safety Assessment to complement the work performed in WP 1.3 “Certification basis analysis”.
The architecture and data flows of the NG ISS are analysed in conjunction with the capabilities of a family of legacy aircrafts to define requirements for a possible integration of NG ISS.

THALES Avionics will lead WP 5.1 and will define the Next Generation Integrated Surveillance System architecture and will specify the Input / Output implementation requirements with the partners.
