The main work package 4 is broken down in the three work packages:

• WP4.1 Terrain situation awareness
• WP4.2 Obstacle situation awareness
• WP4.3 Database and WXR correlation

Terrain and obstacles use different algorithms and distinct databases. Therefore, they are dealt with separately in the surveillance system. FLYSAFE has applied this distinction and addressed also in different work packages.
