In parallel with these specification activities, the partners will review the certification issues linked to the design of an integrated safety system.
The first task “Certification issues review” will perform an extensive review of the surveillance related regulatory documents.

The task “Overall system risk assessment” will perform a top-down approach (Functional Hazard Analysis) to evaluate the impact at the sub-system level of the safety requirements set at the overall surveillance system level.

These tasks will be supported by the relevant members of the External Experts Advisory Group (EEAG) so as to establish the certification basis and facilitate future development and certification together with civil authorities.
