Jeppesen will be contributing to digital databases to FLYSAFE. This includes research on terrain, obstacle, airport, and navigation databases for FLYSFE applications. Jeppesen will be contributing to the development of the FLYSAFE database server. Jeppesen has developed Application Programmer Interfaces and applications to extract and visualise real-time airport, obstacle, and navigation databases. Jeppesen has experience in designing compact storage formats and data structures. They have developed a Taxi Position Awareness Function that is implemented in the Jeppesen Electronic Flight Bag.

The IP and experience in FLYSAFE is important for Jeppesen as it supports the transition from a traditional paper market into the future digital markets.
