Adria Airways is Slovenia's national carrier and has a rich experience spanning forty years in charter and scheduled flights. Adria's history began in 1961, when it was set up as a charter company. In the eighties, Adria Airways started offering services on scheduled routes and became a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

As a regional air carrier Adria is successfully strengthening its participation in European integration process.

Adria Airways will contribute to FLYSAFE by providing its requirement on airline operation during the specification phases, and by proposing pilots expertise for the evaluation phases. Adria will also contribute to dissemination activities during the project.

FLYSAFE will offer Adria's technical team the opportunity to participate in the definition of the next generation of on-board safety system. It will enable Adria's technical team to be in touch with the on-going research activities and Adria Airways to perform publicity of this participation.
