AIRBUS FRANCE SAS, one of the four wholly-owned subsidiaries of AIRBUS SAS (an EADS joint company with BAE Systems) is a limited liability company (société par actions simplifiée) duly organised and existing under the laws of France, having its registered office at 316 route de Bayonne, 31060 Toulouse, France, registered under number RCS Toulouse 393 341 532 and represented by its General Manager Mr Jean- Marc Thomas. AIRBUS FRANCE designs and manufactures aircraft, aircraft parts, systems, equipment and derivative products, and also provides services in the field of aeronautics. About 15,000 employees are working in AIRBUS France (46,000 for all AIRBUS in Europe). The turnover for 2002 amounts to round Euro 4.1 billion and the “résultat d’exploitation” (more or less equivalent to EBIT) to round Euro 0.5 billion. AIRBUS FRANCE Manufacturing is structured into manufacturing units where Airbus aircraft are designed, built, assembled and tested.
